Some of the closer ski areas to Seattle include Stevens Pass, Crystal Mountain, Snoqualmie Summit and Mt. Baker.

Stevens Pass - about 2 1/2 hours with area for tradional skiing, boarding, nordic, tubing and a pretty cool pipe. http://www.stevenspass.com
